Today, a total of 13 employees are conducting scientific and practical research in the laboratory, of which 3 are Doctors of Science, 4 are Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), and 6 are experienced specialists.
Main purpose:
Development of algorithms, mathematical models, and numerical methods for solving geofiltration problems for predicting changes in groundwater levels and assessing their quality based on modern software products.

Services provided:
creation of natural, geofiltration, and mathematical models of geofiltration and mass transfer processes in order to predict the movement of groundwater levels and assess their quality based on modern software products;
creation of a geoinformation model of groundwater deposits;
development of algorithms and digital methods for solving direct and reverse geofiltration problems;
creation of new types of automated measuring instruments for monitoring groundwater;
statistical processing of hydrogeological and engineering-geological data;
assessment of operational reserves of groundwater using modern software products;
Creation of a hydrogeological information system using GIS technologies;
development of databases and application of information technologies in hydrogeology;

application and implementation of automated devices for measuring and modifying the level, temperature, and specific electrical conductivity of groundwater in order to optimize monitoring of atmospheric air pollution;
organization of work on the development of scientific and strategic prospects for the development and implementation of modern software;
ensuring the implementation of state and sectoral policy on the implementation and development of modern software products;
implementation of modern software and modeling systems;

development, implementation and submission of proposals for the preparation of projects, calculation of design and estimate documentation;
Coordination of the work on the implementation of GIS technologies and computerization in the structural subdivisions of the Institute, targeted and effective use of personal computers, geoinformation resources, including Internet resources;
development of recommendations and methodological manuals on the application and implementation of mathematical methods and modeling, automated measuring instruments, as well as software and geographic information technologies;
participation in international and republican exhibitions, conferences and other scientific events on research projects carried out for the purpose of their implementation in production.
