The fight against corruption is taking place in our country it remains one of the main directions of political and legal reform. President Of The Republic Of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev: "In the fight against corruption, all segments of the population, as long as the best specialists are not involved, we will not achieve the high marks that all members of our society, to be honest, do not get vaccinated with the "honesty vaccine". We must change from fighting the consequences of corruption to preventing it prematurely," rightly emphasizes. Priority of Action Strategy published in 2017 as one of the directions, it was established to improve the organizational mechanisms of the fight against corruption and increase the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures, and systematic work was carried out in this direction. It should be noted that in order to accelerate the fight against corruption, state programs have been adopted three times in the last five years. The point of reference is that the problem of corruption is a topic widely discussed by international organizations in recent years as a transnational crime internationally. Focusing on the experience of developed countries, some of them successfully coped with the corruption scourge in a timely manner, achieving positive results.
Also in the new Uzbekistan development strategy for 2022-2026, announced on January 28, 2022 the fight against corruption has been made a priority. In particular, the development strategy envisaged the elimination of conflict of interest in the implementation of state control over the activities of Public Administration bodies, the involvement of the general public in this process (Goal 4), the identification of corrupt industries and sectors, the improvement of the effectiveness of the system for eliminating corrupt factors, the formation of an uncompromising attitude towards corruption in аlso, honesty in the civil service in the development strategy the implementation of the standards is established, according to which the system of declaration of income and property of civil servants will be introduced in stages. Measures such as creating effective mechanisms to prevent conflicts of interest in the civil service, ensuring openness in anti-corruption activities, and expanding public participation (goal 83) are also implemented.
