Attention all women engaged in scientific research
The Youth Affairs Agency and the Council of Young Scientists announce a grant for the 3rd season of the "Step to PhD" project. As part of the project, two-month training courses will be organized for young women interested in scientific activities. On the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Geological Sciences, Innovative Development, Current Issues and Prospects for Specialist Training”
On May 7 of this year, the Islam Karimov Tashkent State Technical University is planning to hold an international scientific and practical conference titled “Geological Sciences, Innovative Development, Current Issues and Prospects for Specialist Training”. The conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ismail Mirkhodzhaevich Mirkhodzhaev, a renowned geologist, Honored Scientist and Technologist of Uzbekistan, and laureate of the Beruni State Prize. Competition for "Women Scientists"
A competition for "Women Scientists" is announced for applied research and innovative projects carried out within the framework of state programs for scientific activities. Scientific projects submitted for the competition will be accepted in electronic form through the Unified Intellectual Electronic Platform of State Scientific Programs (loyiha.ilmiy.uz) until April 20, 2025 (inclusive until 23:59). Within the framework of the competition, 100 scientific projects that have received the highest scores based on the results of scientific expertise will be selected, based on quotas distributed across scientific fields.

Creation of an integrated system for managing mineral resources and geo-risks in Uzbekistan
On April 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM, the opening ceremony of the international grant project "Creating an Integrated Mineral Resources and Geo-Risk Management System in Uzbekistan" will take place in the conference hall of the University of Geological Sciences. This project is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The event will be attended by senior officials and specialists from the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its subordinate organizations, UZINFOCOM, as well as South Korean companies KOICA, KOMIR, KIGAM, SOAM, and Argonet. Representatives of all media outlets, as well as specialists who have expressed interest in this field, are invited to the event.
