Engineering Geological services
Provides a set of activities and studies carried out by specialists in the field of engineering geology to study the geological structure and properties of soils and rocks at the site of future construction or other engineering facilities.
- Study and assessment of changes in hydrogeological and engineering-geological conditions of objects (mineral deposits, construction of hydraulic structures, etc.)
- Research to substantiate mining and engineering conditions for the operation of mineral deposits;
- Study of the peculiarities of changes in the physical and mechanical properties of rocks during the stability of underground mine workings;
- Field and laboratory studies to determine the composition and properties of soils, rocks and groundwater;
- Tests for strength, compressibility, determination of ultimate strength, water permeability and other characteristics of soils to determine their behavior under load;
- Study of quarry wall deformation and assessment of their development during the development of ore deposits of minerals;
- Assessment of landslide hazard in developed areas;
- Identification of potential areas of possible development of natural landslides during the development of territories and development of protective measures;
- Study of factors influencing the occurrence of landslide phenomena in mines;
- Conducting engineering and geophysical works for the development of tailings storage facilities;
