Hydrogeological Services
Hydrogeological Services
- Conducting comprehensive hydrogeological surveys for mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects at the pre-design, design, and operational stages.
- Studying the formation, regime, and balance of groundwater in areas with quarries, mines, tailings facilities, industrial sites, and hydraulic structures.
- Prospecting and exploration of groundwater for drinking and technical use to supply hydrometallurgical plants (HMP), mineral processing plants (MPP), mining and processing combines (MPC), etc.
- Assessing the sufficiency of fresh, technical, and mineral groundwater reserves for domestic, drinking, industrial, and process water supply.
- Calculating, assessing, and reassessing operational groundwater reserves in accordance with national and international classifications.
- Investigating and forecasting water inflows into open pits, mines, and underground workings; developing dewatering, drainage, and groundwater drawdown systems.
- Assessing the impact of mining and construction activities on local hydrogeological conditions, including changes in groundwater levels, flow paths, quality, resources, and abstraction conditions.
- Developing measures to protect mine workings, open-pit walls, and industrial facilities from flooding, waterlogging, and seasonal water inflows.
- Conducting hydrogeochemical studies of groundwater, including assessing its corrosivity towards construction materials and rock formations.
- Identifying, analyzing, and assessing sources of groundwater contamination; developing engineering and technological measures for their prevention and containment.
- Creating numerical hydrogeological models to forecast groundwater behavior under various deposit development and industrial expansion scenarios.
- Developing a strategy for the rational and sustainable use of groundwater resources in the mining and industrial sectors.
- Research and development of experimental methods.
- Preparing hydrogeological reports, expert opinions, and recommendations.
