Main goal:
To improve the methodology for assessing operational reserves of groundwater for constructing gallery-type water intake structures and to enhance the methodology for evaluating projected groundwater resources.
Services provided:
- Develop methods for searching and exploring areas suitable for using groundwater to construct gallery-type water intake facilities in river valleys, and substantiate principles and approaches;
- Enhance the methodology for assessing operational reserves of groundwater using digital modeling techniques;
- Substantiate methodological approaches for utilizing groundwater monitoring data, mathematical and cartographic models in the assessment and forecasting of groundwater resources;
- Assess projected groundwater resources under changing water management conditions, and develop a methodology for implementing new irrigated areas through groundwater utilization.
