Main goal:
Development of scientific and methodological foundations for studying hydromineral resources (underground mineral, thermal, and industrial waters) and uranium sources, investigating the specifics of their formation and distribution patterns, conducting research to improve the efficiency of exploration and prospecting work, monitoring geological exploration for hydromineral resources, as well as studying and assessing groundwater quality during uranium deposit development.
Services provided:
- development of criteria and scientific-methodological foundations for prospecting hydromineral resources (underground mineral, thermal, and industrial waters) and uranium, monitoring of exploration and prospecting work;
- study of distribution patterns of hydromineral resources and uranium, as well as the geological and hydrogeological conditions of their formation in areas of distribution;
- analysis of the economic efficiency of geological exploration and geological-economic justification for the potential use of hydromineral resources;
- development of recommendations for establishing sanatorium-resort and health-improvement facilities in areas with low utilization of underground mineral waters;
- exploring the potential uses of underground thermal waters in economic sectors (as an alternative source of electrical or thermal energy, in greenhouse farming, for organizing and developing the fishing industry, creating facilities for health tourism);
- development of technological schemes for integrated exploitation and extraction of gold, scandium, rhenium, niobium, beryllium, tantalum, rare and rare-earth elements, critical metals, and strategically important elements from underground industrial waters;
- assessment and reassessment of operational reserves and projected resources of underground mineral waters;
- development of a groundwater quality monitoring program in uranium mining areas;
- development of innovative methods for prospecting deep-seated uranium deposits.
