On July 13 of this year, Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Yusupov met with a delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan.

Representatives of Uzbekhydrogeology, the Institute GIDROINGEO, and Helvetas Tajikistan participated in the event. The parties exchanged experiences in the rational use and protection of groundwater and discussed issues related to improving the regulatory framework.

During the meeting, information was presented on the integrated water resources management project being implemented by Helvetas Tajikistan in the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation, implementing joint projects, and sharing best practices in the rational use and protection of groundwater.
