Specialists from the Ministry of Mining and Geology, the State Institution "Uzbekhydrogeology," and the State Institution "Institute GIDROINGEO" studied the rational use and automation of groundwater implemented by the Household Irrigation Center under the Kashkadarya Regional Khokimiyat.

To efficiently use wells irrigating household plots, conserve water and energy resources, and transition them to a modern management system, the Center developed and implemented the "Oqil quduq" digitalization technology for the first time in the country. This innovative solution is now recognized as the "Kashkadarya Experience" and is the only example of digital control of vertical irrigation wells.

The study noted that 51 vertical irrigation wells have been digitalized. They are integrated into the Central Dispatch Service, are under full video surveillance, and the technology itself has been successfully tested.

Officials from the Ministry of Mining and Geology and the Khokimiyat of the Kashkadarya Region agreed on strengthening cooperation on the rational use and protection of groundwater, attracting foreign and local donor organizations to provide economic support for this practice, and establishing control over the use of groundwater reserves.
