The State Institution "Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology" and the State Geological Monitoring Service are jointly conducting comprehensive scientific research on large landslides recorded in the industrial and mountainous areas of Angren, Tashkent Region.

As part of the research, rock samples collected from landslide sites are undergoing in-depth analysis in collaboration with the institute's scientists. Specifically, the physical and mechanical properties of the samples, their geological structure, the mechanisms of landslide development, and the factors contributing to reactivation are being studied.
