
On August 27 of this year, the Ministry of Mining and Geology held a gala event to mark the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by industry employees who had been awarded high state awards, orders, and medals on the eve of Independence Day, along with the heads of the ministry and its subordinate enterprises, as well as veterans whose work in the industry had been highly recognized.
The gala event was opened by Minister of Mining and Geology B. Islamov with opening remarks. He recognized the achievements of dedicated employees making a significant contribution to the industry's development and emphasized that the key tasks facing the industry are improving production efficiency, implementing advanced technologies, training qualified personnel, and demonstrating the country's economic potential.
It was emphasized that these prestigious awards recognize not only individual initiatives but also the work of the workforces in which they work, as well as the positive results of reforms in the mining and geological industries.
In addition, during the event, a group of employees of the Ministry’s central office and heads of subordinate enterprises were presented with the “35th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” badges.
