
On June 4 of this year, a regular working meeting was held as part of the KOICA-funded project "Creating an Integrated Management System for Mineral Resources and Geological Risks in Uzbekistan." The meeting included a responsible official from the Ministry of Mining and Geology, management and specialists from the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology, and representatives from Korean companies KOMIR, SOAM, Argonet, and KIGAM.
During the meeting, issues related to the procurement of equipment required by the project for 2026, its installation, and commissioning in pilot areas were discussed, as well as priority tasks for the next phase of the project.
Following the discussions, the Korean delegation identified specific plans and measures aimed at the timely and high-quality implementation of project activities, strict adherence to established deadlines, and the effective organization of future work.
