On June 6, 2026, the futsal tournament for the Minister of Mining and Geology Cup was held at the sports complex of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. Eighteen teams, consisting of employees of enterprises and organizations affiliated with the ministry, participated in the competition.

The competition was intense and uncompromising throughout the tournament. Teams from Navoiyuran State Enterprise, Uzbekugol JSC, NGMK JSC, AGMK JSC, Uzbekgeologorazvedka JSC, and other organizations competed for victory.

The final match was between Navoiyuran State Enterprise and Uzbekugol JSC. The match ended in a 3-3 draw after regulation time. The winner was determined in a penalty shootout, where Navoiyuran State Enterprise prevailed and took the tournament title.

Following the competition, the Uzbekugol JSC team took second place, and the NGMK JSC team took third place.

At the awards ceremony, Minister of Mining and Geology B. Islamov presented the winners and runners-up with trophies and commemorative gifts. The tournament served to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen team spirit, and increase interest in sports among industry workers.
