From June 16 to 18 of this year, Ivan Osorio-Leon, a researcher with the French Geological Survey (BRGM), will conduct a special training seminar for staff of the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology.

The seminar will address current developments in modern hydrogeology, the strategic importance of groundwater in the 21st century, scientific approaches to studying the "critical zone," the formation of a national knowledge system, and key aspects related to the prospects for water resource development in Uzbekistan.

This event aims to explore and implement international scientific and technical experience, further develop cooperation in hydrogeology and engineering geology, and enhance the professional knowledge and competencies of industry specialists.
