Bimurzaev Gany Amirgalievich was born in 1982 in Tashkent Region. In 2004, he graduated from Tashkent State Technical University with a degree in Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology. In 2006, he completed his master’s degree in Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology at the same university.

Total professional experience: 22 years Research experience: 21 years Scientific and teaching experience: 7 years.

Academic degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences.

Academic title: Senior Researcher.

Professional Experience:

  • 2004-2007 — Technician at the Angren Observation Station of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes; Engineering Geologist in the Topographic and Geodetic Department.
  • 2006-2007 — Engineer at the Department of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology and Geophysical Methods of Exploration, Tashkent State Technical University.
  • 2007-2009 — Category II Hydrogeologist at the Bostanliq Observation Station of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes.
  • 2009-2012 — Lecturer at the Department of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology and Geophysical Methods of Exploration, Tashkent State Technical University.
  • 2012-2015 — Acting Chief Geologist and Deputy Head of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources.
  • 2015-2016 — Acting Head and Chief Geologist of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources.
  • 2017-2019 — Head of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources.
  • 2019-2022 — Director of the State Establishment “Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology” under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources.
  • 2022-2023 — Head of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • 2023-2024 — Head of the State Service for Monitoring Hazardous Geological Processes of the State Geological Monitoring Service of the State Institution “Uzbekhydrogeology” under the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Since 26 July 2024, Bimurzaev Gany Amirgalievich has served as Director of the State Establishment “Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology” of the University of Geological Sciences under the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
